Job of Postal Assistant/Shorting Assistant in Department of Post, Haryana Circle for Sports Persons

Office of the Chief postmaster General, Haryana Circle, Ambala-133001 asked for application for postal assistant, shorting assistant from the meritorious sports persons who have
 a) represented a state of the country in the National or International competitions in the sports/games.
b) represented their University in the inter-University tournaments conducted by the inter-University sports boards in the sports/games.
 c) Represented the State School team in the National Sports/Games for the schools conducted by the All India School Sports/ Games Federation in the sports/games.
d) Awarded National awards in Physical Efficiency under the National Efficiency driver in the sports which are mentioned below.

1. Basket Ball (05 Male vacancies)
2, Wrestling (05 Male vacancies)
3. Badminton (02 male and 02 Female)
4. Table tennis (05= 03 male and 02 female)
5. Athletic (02 male)

in these the postal assistant are 18, shorting are 02 and one for postal assistant (circle office).

Pay Scale :5200-20200 (PB-1) with GP 2400/- and other allowances

Age: 18-27 years as on 20-03-2015 (relaxation of age 05 for Gen, 08 for OBC, 10 years for SC/ST

Education Qualification
1) Should have passed 10+2 from recognized university or board of school education or board of secondary education with English as a compulsory subject ( excluding vocational streams) and should have studied Hindi as a subject at least in Matriculation or equivalent.
2) The candidate of higher qualification will also be considered provided they fullfill the above condition. No bonus marks for higher education.
3) Desirable Qualification: Typing and computer knowledge.
4) Sports qualification as mentioned above.

Application Fee: The application forms shall be sold a price of 125/- only and the sale will be through all Head Post offices and identified post offices (para 16 in main advt.) in the circle.

Trial Fee: The trial fee will be carged from the candidates who will come under the zone of consideration and will be called for trials. The amount of fee will be intimated to them at the time of issuance of the Hall permits for trials.

Terms and Conditions: The selected candidates will have to serve the department for minimum 3 years and will have to participate in any activities pertaining to the discipline under which recruited, that would be conducted by the Department of Posts for a minimum period of 5 years from the date of their appointment.

Note: The details notification is available on departmental website www.indiapost.gov.in . The applicaiton form duly completed along with self attested copies of required certificates and prescribed should reach in this office before last date which is 20-03-2015.
